My name is Crystle Lee. I was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN by two amazing parents.
From an early age, I was involved in music where I began singing in my school choir. Special thanks to that choir director that believed in me, knew I had potential and urged me to continue singing.
As an adult, my love for music led me to perform at various local venues where I was able to start developing as an artist. I went and auditioned for American Idol and advanced to the second round. This experience gave me more confidence.
While still working on my music career I began working in the finance industry and proud to say I had a 16-year career in that industry. All the while knowing that music was my passion and calling. God sent a very special person in my life to help lead me, guide me and make me the person I am today. I met Jim Ricketts from Dayton, TN in 2007. We soon became best of friends; he took me under his wing and showed me what it takes to be in ministry. I knew God was calling me to sing for him! I was soon saved by the grace of God on Feb. 10th, 2008, and I knew then what I was called to do for the rest of my life. Jim and I traveled all over the United States performing around 150 dates a year until Jim became seriously ill. Jim was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia. This horrible disease would soon take his life on January 7th, 2016, as God called him to join his heavenly choir.
I took some time off to grieve and ask God, " where do I go from here"? It was not long before God told me to keep on for him!
I continued right where Jim and I left off and fulfilled all the dates we had on the calendar as a solo artist. This is how my Solo Career came about. In 2018 I made a huge decision to walk in faith and leave my career in finance behind to go into full-time ministry! I tell everyone I have not looked back since and with God's help I never will! God has opened so many doors; I have been blessed to do some amazing things in my music career; I have had the opportunity to perform at Dollywood Theme Park and the Ark Encounter. I have been blessed to share the stage with some amazing artist like Joseph Habedank, Jason Crabb, Phil Cross and Poet Voices, Gold City, Lefevre Quartet, Noah Peters, Riley Clemmons, JJ Weeks and Rhett Walker to name a few. I now perform a wide range of music styles from Contemporary to Christian country all over the United States.
When asked about the most rewarding aspect of sharing my musical gift, I consistently express that seeing lives changed through song and testimony, seeing individuals respond spiritually and make a life changing decision is rewarding and fulfilling of my calling. That is why I do what God has called me to do."
